Artist in Residence, Scottish School of Forestry, 2018.

A study in time, the past re-presented in the present.

During March, 2018 I was Artist in Residence at the Scottish School of Forestry, Inverness. Due to its proximity to Culloden Battlefield it was not difficult to imagine what sights and sounds may have played out through this area in the past. Personally, I find woodlands always instil a sense of calm whilst being a living time capsule, a developing archaeology of the past within the present.
